We grow around 60 herb varieties and wild-harvest from managed meadow and woodland. Everything is picked by hand at peak potency — usually the morning after the dew has lifted — then dried slowly at under 40°C to protect the volatile oils that make a herb worth having.
Most orders are dispatched within two weeks of harvest. Seasonal lines sell out fast, so sign up to our harvest notifications if you don't want to miss them.

The difference between good dried herbs and forgettable ones comes down to a few decisions made at harvest time.

We dry below 40°C to preserve the oils and actives. Higher heat kills the chemistry that makes a herb useful.

Paper bags, paper tape, recycled card. Every batch carries its harvest date, location and the name of who picked it.

Elderflower season is short. A tincture in vodka or glycerine preserves the flavour and medicinal properties for twelve months.
